The Obligitory About Page

I've been in the online marketing world since registering my first domain in 1996. Didn't really have any success until joining a dot com company in 1999 (W3Commerce), and then watching it collapse in epic fashion. But while there, learned the basic strategies of what would become SEO.

My stock option certificates worthless, and no paycheck, starting at my wife across the dining room table, the stark reality sunk in. Former Air Force Captain with an MBA, and we're broke. Oh Shit. Downloaded a cracked copy of Dreamweaver, and learned to make e-commerce sites. One of them, in the home and garden industry, took off. Ended up selling it for 7-figures, and was rolling in the tall cotton.

When you find something you are good at, and are rewarded for it, hard to stop. So I took some time off, then bought a failing biofeedback software company. Ran it for 8 years, had a great ride. Then sold it for just shy of 7-figures.

Took some more time off, and wrote a book about Chaco Canyon & the Anasazi Indians. Because I wanted to. Old internet marketing buddy, Mike Koenigs, has a course called publish & profit, so used that to become an Amazon best seller in 3 categories. Bucket list item checked off.

Then got a wild, wild hair. Decided to hike the 2600 mile Pacific Crest Trail from California/Mexico border to Canada. Trained my ass off, and set off on April 10th. Made it about 1,000 miles in 2.5 months before my feet gave out with a nerve condition.

But, during those long hiking days, my mind was free to think, dream, scheme and plan. It was there the idea for Lucid Marketing was born. Its software with lots of functions, but only one purpose: More traffic & optins.

It's not cheap, it's not for everyone. But it is Bad. Ass.
